I´m here now for 1 week, but for me it feels like 3 or so, I´m doing so much with my host family that the days just rush by and I´ve really lost my sense of time a little bit.
Liverpool is such a greeat great village, they have everything here, even though Liverpool itself has just ´bout 2200 inhabitants.

This week we visited Mike´s parents, they always spend their summer in Alexandria Bay in a Trailer Park next to the 1000 islands. The 1000 islands are just 1 and a half hours away from Liverpool and it is beautiful there! We were at Heart Island (it´s called so because it is heart shaped) and visited a gorgeous castle.
The next day I was in the mall with Tina and we were shoppping. The stores are soo very cool here, I really think I have to move here just because of the malls :D
And I´ve already been to my Highschool to choose my classes for this year. They have soooo many classes here, it is sick, school in Germany is nothing compared to this.
I had to take Math (sure ^^), English, US History and EP (Sports). My electives arrrre Photography, Digital Photography, Spanish annnd (the very very best) FASHION DISIGN (isn´t that just freakin cool?). I can´t wait to have my first day of school I´m so excited
But I´ll have to wait another 2 weeks or so, school starts at the 8th of september...
Haha, when I was in the Highschool first I was given a map of the building that I don´t get lost - there are 2,400 students at Liverpool High School (and this is just 10th,11th and 12th grade!) and the builing is huuuge.
Yesterday we were at the big New York State Fair. The Fair is here every summer for a couple of weeks and everybody loves it. There are all kinds of rides and even some rollercoasters, jewlery, clothes, games and a lot of food. They really fry EVERYTHING here, fried cheesecake, fried pineapple, fried pizza, fried cookies, fried icecream (I don´t know how that should work ?!).
We had a big fried onion that we shared (Tina, Zac, his friend C. J. and me) and even though I had just a fourth fried onion I felt quite sick aferwards ^^
We stayed at the Fair the whole day and ate dinner there also. I wasn´t hungry at all and was sick of all the fried things there so I searched for something that was NOT fried, haha that was difficult. In the end I chose some strawberry cheesecake icecream (a "small one" = about 4 scoops of icecream :D )
I wasn´t on any rides yet because they´re quite expensive and I´ll come back with some other exchange students next week anyways.
Sooo today I´ll go to Lisa maries place, (she´s a YFU exchange student from Germany too) and stay there overnight.
